The 7th edition of the Zoo and Aquarium Veterinary Medical Program and Hospital Guidelines, produced by the American Association of Zoo Veterinarians (AAZV), is now available. The AAZV’s mission is to empower our members to advance our profession and enhance wild animal health, welfare, and conservation. These guidelines are designed to guide zoos and aquariums in their design and implementation of veterinary programs and hospitals to advance the health and welfare of animals in their care.
